Since 1972 Nolan has designed and tested their line of helmets in their own facility in Bergamo, Italy. The life of a new helmet starts in Nolan's design department, with great efforts being invested in the improvemnet of the features of each model, in terms of safety, performance, and comfort. Each step is handled within the company where the state of the art equipment is used from the research department in the early stages of design, through the manufactering process, to the final testing of the finished product. Each component is tested independently in the most extreme operating conditions in the laboratory, to insure the highest quality. The complete helmets are tested for compliance to the various safety standards in Nolan's lab, then the products are sent out to third party labs for approval. Destructive tests are also conducted on random production samples to insure compliance with the international standards. Nolan helmets are 100% Italian Design!

VPS (Vision Protection System)- short dark shield mounted on the inside of the helmet and moving independently from the face shield. It provides real eye protection and is also available in amber, light blue and light smoke. It is easily opperated by a large rubbercoated slider on the left side of the helmet.

Quick-change shield is optically correct UV400, and fitted in an exceptionally large eye port. It accepts the Pinlock antifog insert (included)

Lightweight aerodynamic polycarbonate shell with built-in spoiler for improved stability (3.6lbs eith all accessories)

Fully removable and washable Clima-Comfort liner is antibacterial. antifungal and wicking.

Super efficient JSW top vent with exhaust grid in the rear spoiler; works in conjuntion with the air channels along the crown. It is operated by a glove-friendly rubber slider.

Microlock (adjustable quick release) retention system
