Since 1972 Nolan has designed and tested their line of helmets in their own facility in Bergamo, Italy. The life of a new helmet starts in Nolan's design department, with great efforts being invested in the improvement of the features of each model, in terms of safety, performance, and comfort. Each step is handled within the company where the state of the art equipment is used from the research department in the early stages of design, through the manufacturing process, to the final testing of the finished product. Each component is tested independently in the most extreme operating conditions in the laboratory, to insure the highest quality. The complete helmets are tested for compliance to the various safety standards in Nolan's lab, then the products are sent out to third party labs for approval. Destructive tests are also conducted on random production samples to insure compliance with the international standards. Nolan helmets are 100% Italian Design!

• Pivoting chinbar with stainless-steel on stainless-steel latching mechanism and patented articulated hinges. A secondary safety system includes a set of interlocking fingers on each side of the chinbar.
• Dual-action Centromatic release system (pull the tab on the underside of the chinbar, then squeeze together with the front tab) for increased safety.
• VPS (Vision Protection System) sunshield mounted on the outside of the clear shield with 3 positions.
• Fully removable and interior on snaps and tabs with wicking and wind-noise reduction qualities.

• Optically correct, tool-less quick-change Lexan faceshield, offers UV400 protection.
• Multi-position anti-scratch shield accepts NFR antifog insert. The antifog insert mounts inside the standard clear shield to keep the rider fog free.

• Sanitized anti-microbial hypoallergenic interior. Sanitized is a fiber (not a treatment) woven in Nolans liners to keep it fresh longer.
